Mark is a member of Darling Macro's Investment and Compliance Committees
Mark has 25 years experience leading global investment teams and managing large and complex asset management products for a global client base. Mark has grown new businesses and developed new products, advised boards and trustees and lead organisational change.
As a leader I value the development of people and high performance teams, and demonstrating core values of integrity, collaboration and a growth attitude.
Mark has managed a wide range of investment strategies including long dated interest rate and equity protection strategies for insurance clients, absolute return fixed income funds and target volatility funds.
At AMP Capital, Mark lead the Global Equities and Fixed Income business and was responsible for business strategy, the overall investment performance of A$90bn and growth in profitability. The business included Global Equities, Global Listed Real Estate, Global Listed Infrastructure and Australian Equities, also Global Sovereign, Global Investment Grade, Australian Core fixed income, a series of absolute return strategies, and a global dealing, exposure management and investment data capability. Mark lead 100 investment professionals located in Australia, HK, NZ, UK and the US.
Mark was a member of the AMP Capital Leadership team, the AMP Capital Investment Committee, the Credit Investment Committee and Diversified Funds Investment Committee. Mark was also responsible Manager (RM) for various AMP Capital subsidiaries and Director of a Responsible Entity (RE).
Previously Mark worked for JPMorgan and UBS in a range of market and credit risk roles, and started his career at National Australian Bank.
